Inowrocław is a health resort situated on the River Noteć, on the Plain of Inowrocław (a region in the centre of Poland), not far away from Toruń and Bydgoszcz (about 40 km). Inowrocław is often called ‘the town on salt’ since it is situated on huge layers of salt. The mineral natural resources are used for a range of treatment one can receive in sanatoria and spas in the town. History of Inowrocław dates back to the twelfth century, thus there are many historic monuments worth visiting. However, Inowrocław is famous for its sanatoria and the beautiful Solanki Park where there are brine graduation towers. One can also visit the centre of the town, an Aqua Park, a sports hall and many other sights. |
